Description:
CPC30720 Certificate III in Rigging provides common skills and knowledge for the building and construction industry, as well as those that are more specific to the occupations of a Dogger and Rigger. Successfully completing Certificate III in Rigging will provide qualifications to operate from Basic through to Intermediate Rigging level. Occupational titles can include Dogger and Rigger. Due to the High-Risk nature of the job role, the qualification provides a strong focus on safety.

- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
- Scissor Lift and Boom Lift under 11 metres

- Licence to Perform Dogging
- Licence to Perform Rigging - Basic Level
- Licence to Perform Rigging - Intermediate Level
- Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (boom length 11 metres or more)
- Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck

Practical:
- Equipment selection, inspection, identification, handling and storage
- Site and job planning
- Erection and dismantling of tilt slabs and pre-cast concrete panels
- Erecting and dismantling crane sections
- Dual crane lifts
- Use of winches
- Slinging, lifting, moving and placing loads using whistle and hand signals when in full view and out of sight of the Crane Operator.
